Little John Saves the Three Youths

Wow, I am surprisingly awake and it is 4:21am. This illustration depicts an adventure Little John embarks on, as written by Howard Pyle. Line-art and shading done traditionally with Bic Pen and Prismacolor warm Grey markers. Hope you like it. I have spent tonight painting. I started this painting at six o clock pm yesterday, it is now 4:14 am. Almost 12 straight hours of painting. my butt is screaming right about now. haha anyway the mega sugared kool-aid is wearing off and I am going to go to bed. I will probably make revisions, but it is what I have for now.

Wow I'm beginning to feel the effects of staying up late...

I wish I could get rid of the cell spacing on here, but until I have time to code the whole blog you will have to full-view to check it out. I am working on the environment and painting of the characters. The line art/characters belong to Adam Sevy as a part of a collab we are working on. Let me know what you think. Til then I am going to take a quick nap since there is still more to paint before the night is over.
